Ballast Point Park
The park is popular among kids because of the splash pad and the great playground. There is also something for the whole family who loves to fish in the pier. Curtis Hixon Park
Curtis Hixon Park is located along the Tampa Riverwalk in Downtown Tampa. You can get a glimpse of the University of Tampa from the park. If you are looking for a park that will allow you to do things more than walking, then you should go to Rivercrest Park. Make sure you bring your kids' bathing suits as well as their bicycles. For older kids, they can play basketball in the court or join different classes, too! You can bring your lunch and have a picnic when the children are all tired from doing various activities around the park.
Lowry Park
Lowry Park may not be as famous as the other parks mentioned here, but it offers equally fun activities and attractions for kids and the whole family. When you visit this park, make sure you have your bike with you because they have a bike path where you and your kids enjoy biking. The park is located near the Lowry Park Zoo, so if you are tired of biking, you can go straight to the zoo and see some wildlife.
